Hey everyone, I finished my girlfriend's PC build a while back thanks to your support. I noticed a big difference in temperatures between hers and mine. Her setup uses: Samsung 970EVO Plus with SSD, Gigabyte GeForce RTX Windforce, AMD Ryzen 5 7600x, Noctua NH-D15S, Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR5, and Gigabyte B650 AORUS ELITE. My build is: Ryzen 7 3800XT Force MP600 with 2TB SSD, Noctua NH-D15 MSI MAG X570, TOMAHAWK WIFI MSI RTX 3080 VENTUS 3X OC, 850W pure power, Corsair vengeance 32GB 3200, and stock only except for XMP profiles. Everything was left at default settings. She runs it at a comfortable 40°C, while I’m seeing 40 degrees higher. Any ideas? Should I add more fans or upgrade my case? I’m considering a Fractal Torrent compact. It’s hard to believe the RTX 3080 has a TDP that’s 120W higher than this build—that’s normal. Same room, same game, same presets (Gunfire Reborn). Can someone explain why mine is so hot?

The RTX 3080 tends to generate more heat than the 4070 during heavy use or gaming. If temperatures exceed 90°C, consider adjusting the paste and ensuring proper airflow within the case.
