I'm confused about what to share, it seems something isn't right here. It makes no sense that a clip would hold it in place, which is typical in this industry. If the motherboard is actually doing the holding, that's even more unusual since I've never heard of that happening. Right now I can only say we need clearer images. Please take off the cooler and provide a better view. There shouldn't be any parts that can't be removed easily, and definitely clips on the male connector should be present. Let's get better pictures then.
