Extending Point to Point network between various homes
Extending Point to Point network between various homes
What a question! Can you provide more context or clarify what you're referring to? I'm here to help!
Using a purpose-built bridge device tends to work better, though many routers—particularly those running OpenWRT—can handle bridging too. Keep in mind though, there might be legal concerns about exposing your connection to strangers, and you could face responsibility if someone uses the network for unlawful activities.
Thank you all for your input. It seems I have quite a lot to review. I'll return when I need further assistance!
I purchased a very affordable DLink Wi-Fi extender from Amazon just to test it out and then return it. Clearly, it didn’t function properly, so I’m considering either switching to a higher-quality device or trying a different setup—like using a point-to-point antenna and connecting it to an access point at the AirBnb. Do any of you have experience with something similar?
I also discovered this product on Amazon (link will be removed if needed), but it seems to appear as Chinese. Thanks!
