So I am dual booting windows 10 and linux... I want to extend the partition for linux but I'm not sure how too... I have free empty space but linux will only shrink not extend any help please?

You cannot expand a partition when the operating system is running. Boot into a Linux USB drive, open GParted, and adjust the partition size.

I just finished getting back home and cleared the grub launcher. In BIOS you can boot directly to Ubuntu or Windows by adjusting disk priority, though it might be tricky each time you need access. Need assistance with the grub setup?

I can remove the Linux partition because I only have a few items there, and I was trying to expand it for more files. Restarting will fix it.

The Windows entry in Grub is missing. Switch to Linux, launch a terminal, and run: sudo update-grub
