My inquiry concerns whether I can achieve 144Hz 1440p gaming using low graphics settings except for texture and level of detail (LOD), which will be set to maximum, within competitive multiplayer titles and 1440p high settings in single-player games while maintaining at least 60 frames per second with the following specifications: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti SC2 Gaming, Intel i7-7700k, 16GB of 300MHz DDR4 RAM. Alternatively, would it be more advantageous to purchase a 1080p 60Hz monitor instead? Additionally, I will continue using my existing 1080p 60Hz monitor as a secondary display for general tasks such as browsing and video playback – not for gaming purposes.

The 7700K will offer a slightly improved performance and a more substantial boost when overclocked. However, it’s important to note that the 7700K often requires elevated voltage levels, so avoid excessive voltage during overclocking or even under-volting. Generally, in CPU-heavy games, you can consistently attain at least 100 frames per second regarding CPU utilization.

Numerous people advise that a four-core, four-thread CPU is insufficient for smooth gameplay with high refresh rates.
