Explorer repeatedly crashed following the hidden updates.
Today a hidden Windows update causes my Desktop to turn black repeatedly every second for one second, and the taskbar disappears. I'm using Tiny11 on Windows 11 on my PC. The problem appears software-related, everything seems up to date. I managed to fix it by restoring the system to an earlier state and disabling updates instantly. When I turned updates back on again, the issue returned after a restart. Unfortunately, the restorepoint is missing now and I'm stuck.
What I tried:
- Safe mode
- Stopping-run & restarting explorer.exe
- Checking for updates
- Running sfc scan
- No Windows update list today using "Get-HotFix" "wmic qfe list" in cmd
- Programs and features in control panel don't open the latest updates (stuck)
According to Eventviewer, "Windows.Ui.Xaml.dll" is crashing, which is a module from explorer.exe (photo taken with my phone):

it's not an official Windows version, so getting assistance will be enjoyable.
Clear answer: set up a standard Windows installation, avoiding versions with hidden components that can't be accessed. The ISO created by others often strips parts for size reduction and isn't always secure. Some removals are actually beneficial.
Does the desktop show up in safe mode?
Hard to tell without knowing the specific patch or what's missing from tiny11, which might be required for the patch to function.
Open blue menus linked to safe mode and use them to copy anything off C that you can't lose.
Select troubleshoot, then choose advanced, then command prompt.
Type notepad and press enter.
In Notepad, go to file > open.
Use the file explorer to copy any files you need to save to a USB drive or another storage.
You might need to install Windows 11 to resolve the issue.

I have been using official Windows 11 (Official Win11_22H2_English_x64v1 downloaded 15.05.23), and runned the Tiny11 Script which removed some ~~bloat~~.
In safe mode Desktop isnt working too.

EDIT: God bless i was able to fix it by deinstalling some of the new bloat programs Microsoft was installing automatically.
EDIT2: It was windows "Web Experience Pack" which caused the issue
