She recently got her laptop upgraded to the latest operating system. She’s having trouble dragging the file explorer window between screens with her mouse. It works fine when using a keyboard shortcut, but not otherwise. She can still move the browser and open files with the mouse. I searched online but didn’t find any solutions. The only guidance was about using the mouse normally or via shortcuts. Whenever she tries to move it by mouse, it shows a stop symbol and blocks the action. It’s frustrating because she didn’t consent to the update and wasn’t warned beforehand.

To revert changes, navigate to Windows Update, select Advanced Options, and return to Windows 10.

I’m considering this approach. I also asked the same thing in a Facebook group I belong to, and someone mentioned they faced the same problem—though their issue resolved after purchasing a new computer.

Yes, the GPU drivers have been updated. All displays are configured at the appropriate resolution and alignment.

It's not a hardware problem—it's just how Windows behaves. The best solution I try is a clean installation.
