What do you think about ARK as the latest entry in a series of survival titles set for early release? Will it capture attention or fade away like other highly anticipated games? A concern I have is its technical demands—some developers mentioned needing a powerful machine to run smoothly at 1080p with high frame rates. My old GTX 560 Ti still works fine, but I’m planning upgrades soon. I’m curious how this compares to the past lineup of survival experiences. What are your thoughts on the genre and its evolution?
These multiplayer games don't work well for me. They lack realism and smooth performance.
I can detect the 720p from this spot. They mentioned they were targeting 30fps at 1080p on the console.
It was a wild time with my crew, really enjoying ourselves together. I ended up spending way too much time on DayZ and Rust.
I've enjoyed working with it a lot, though the current performance isn't ideal, but it still works fine.
I've enjoyed it so far in my small (4 hours) time playing it. I think there is a lot of potential, and a lot of fun to be had. There's a lot more in it than most early access games. Optimization hasn't really happened yet - but it's an early access game. Rough around the edges, with polishing left to do!
