Exploration of why certain games appear in slow-motion despite maintaining 60fps or higher.
A brief overview. The games Dead or Alive 5 Last Round, Dead or Alive Venus Vacation, and Dragon Quest Heroes 2 were functioning well until around November or December 2020. I missed gaming for several months, and upon returning, those titles were lagging, even with Windows Game Bar showing 60fps. Oddly enough, menus and pre-rendered scenes were running smoothly, while only the 3D elements slowed down. I dismissed the issue at first, assuming it was a graphics driver problem, but updated everything afterward. I also tried purchasing Samurai Shodown on Epic to rule out Steam's involvement. Other strong titles like AC Valhalla and Cyberpunk 2077 were performing well. I've shared this concern on multiple forums and seem to be the only one experiencing this issue. I own an Alienware Aurora R8, but Dell doesn't respond unless I renew my warranty. I suspect it's a software-related problem anyway. FYI, I've completed all standard troubleshooting steps such as clean reinstalls and checking local files.
Running smoothly until around November or December 2020.
