Hello, I'm dealing with stuttering while playing Hogwarts Legacy. My frame rate stays around 100 FPS inside the game, but it drops to 0 when I check my system. The GPU and CPU usage in Task Manager are at 0%. This issue only happens in other games. Temperatures are normal—about 60°C on the CPU and 70°C on the GPU. I switched graphics settings from low to ultra, but the problem persists. I lowered the resolution from 1440p to 1080p, yet it didn't help. I've adjusted settings in some games with DLSS and others I found online, but nothing resolves it. It either increases FPS or drops to around 80. I have the latest GPU drivers, and I disabled Windows Defender, yet the stuttering continues. I've checked files and searched the internet, but nothing concrete works. The game is currently unplayable. My specs are: CPU Ryzen 7 5800X, GPU RTX 3070, 16 GB RAM, full usage during gameplay. The game is installed on an SSD. What should I do?

I'm not sure I can assist much beyond confirming my specs are less affected and I don't have that issue. My setup includes a 5600, 2070 Super, and 1440, which works well—especially with DLSS quality. Even native performance feels smooth and isn't as problematic as you mentioned. Edit: To clarify, occasional stutters can occur, but I won't drop frames to zero.

This version has been running since the release. It offers 4K with RT Off and DLSS Quality, though I still experience occasional stuttering while navigating the castle. It never completely freezes, just minor interruptions.

I adjusted the settings to the lowest and still experienced drops to 30-40 FPS. I played this game two months ago and it had lower FPS back then, but it didn’t stutter at all.

It seems like you're asking about a game and wondering if it's the only one like it.

I discovered that modifying Engine.ini removed the issue and I’m seeing higher FPS now.
