Experiencing Windows 10 issues on a fresh machine?
Recently I installed a new PC and faced some issues with Windows 10 crashing unexpectedly. While it doesn’t occur very often, it happens enough to worry me. Have you encountered similar problems? Is there a way to resolve this issue? The error message Windows displays is: MEMORY_MANAGEMENT. It stops sending data and freezes at 0% during a restart attempt. Set-up link: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/m2FTzY My BIOS is current, though some drivers are outdated. I’m also using Fuzedrive for AMD with both drives, but after contacting their support, it seems unrelated to the problem.
Certain AMD B350 boards might require a BIOS upgrade before installing Pinnacle Ridge CPUs. Changing the BIOS could mean using a CPU that isn’t compatible with older BIOS versions. The M.2 slot #2 competes for bandwidth with a SATA 6.0 Gb/s port; once it’s filled, one of those ports is turned off. This setup is noted in PCpartpicker as potential concerns for your configuration.
I was worried about this, but I thought it might not be the main problem. Since it's a recent build, my RAM should still be covered under warranty. I'll check for replacements if needed. Appreciate your help! @HK - 47 My BIOS is current, and the other one shouldn't affect my setup. Thanks again!
The computer stopped working again due to the DPC WATCHDOG VIOLATION error linked to old drivers. I’ll reinstall all drivers and check if it fixes the issue.
Check the SATA and power cables for completeness and proper condition. The initial versions of winX experienced watchdog problems tied to SSD driver updates. Memory handling might also depend on available space on the operating system drive.
Thank you for the guidance. I’ll verify all my cables. My OS should not be overloaded, though I’ll mention this to FuzeDrive’s support. I’m hoping their software isn’t interfering with how Windows recognizes my boot drive. Appreciate the help.
