Hello, I recently tried overclocking my Asus Mx279h 27 inch monitor and encountered an unusual issue. When adjusting the refresh rate from 60hz to 70hz in the Nvidia Control panel, I noticed artifacts appear. However, when increasing it to 72hz, no artifacts occur. Other values below 70hz also show no artifacts, while 70, 71, and 73hz do. This is the highest setting I've tested. What should I choose for the hz?

The difference between 60 and 75 Hz isn't significant, so it's better to stick with 60 Hz. Risking the lifespan of your monitors for a small extra refresh rate isn't worth it.

AJ Kenway:
The difference between 60 and 75 Hz isn't significant enough, so I recommend sticking with 60 Hz. It's not worth jeopardizing your monitors' lifespan for just a few extra refresh cycles. You're correct—I'd rather avoid the risk of damaging my monitor. Thanks
