I installed a fresh setup: Lenovo Thinkstation P520 with an Intel Xeon W-2135 processor and AMD Ryzen RX 6600 graphics card. When running CS2 with Discord running quietly in the background, my CPU temperature jumped to around 70°C while usage stayed at roughly 50%. The game began stuttering. The GPU remained between 50-55°C with about 70% load. From what I found online, it seems my CPU cooler might be too small, though I’m not entirely convinced. All drivers are current and internet connection is solid, so I’m pretty sure it’s something else.

CS2 demands a lot from your processor, and it’s clear your CPU might be the limiting factor here. Measuring CPU usage doesn’t really tell you much for games since no title ever runs at full speed across all cores. The fact that GPU usage stays below 90% suggests the issue is likely on the CPU side.

It seems your CPU's single-core performance might be limited, and the game isn't taking full advantage of its processing power for a seamless experience.
