Lately, I’ve experienced brief pauses in GTA Online, where the game momentarily halts for a second or two every few minutes and my frame rate drops to zero. Typically, I achieve 80-90 frames per second at 1440p with my graphics set to maximum, but reducing resolution or visual quality doesn’t resolve the problem. I suspect this isn't a performance-related issue, as these freezes occur even during loading screens. I’ve attempted standard troubleshooting methods, including checking for corrupted game files and reinstalling the software. This problem didn’t exist just months ago. My graphics card is a recent Nvidia model, and I haven't encountered similar difficulties in other games like Metro Exodus. Any assistance would be very welcome.

System specifications:
Nvidia GTX 1080ti
Ryzen 7 1800x @4.1 GHz
16 GB DDR4 RAM
Samsung 960 EVO

Connected to other users online, I experience a 10 millisecond response time, a data transfer speed of 300 megabits per second in download, and approximately 35 megabits per second in upload.
