Experiencing PC issues on both Windows and Linux systems
I've encountered some bothersome problems with my mini PC running Linux for nearly a year. About every five attempts to put it to sleep, everything freezes—mouse, keyboard, and even forcing shutdown becomes impossible. When it wakes up from sleep, it freezes again, becoming unresponsive. I’ve updated the kernel and all installed software through the add/remove list, but nothing has helped. Recently, I switched to a Windows partition and faced similar issues, though they occur randomly and aren’t tied to sleep states. The system only stalls briefly before resuming if it doesn’t lock up completely. There are no BSODs or random shutdowns. Temperatures stay well below 70°C outside of stress tests, just occasional spikes. I’m leaning toward a hardware problem since I don’t have any RAM sticks on hand for testing, and I want to rule out other causes before spending money.
