Experiencing lagging frame rates in CS:GO despite having a reasonably powerful computer.
Greetings everyone, I sincerely apologize for any errors in my writing. Lately, I've been having difficulty with this particular issue. Despite possessing a relatively powerful computer for this game, I continue to experience reduced frame rates. Specifically, during deathmatch matches with ten players per team, my FPS averages between 200 and 250. I've adjusted all of my video settings to the lowest levels, with the exception of multisampling at 8xMSAA. I've attempted numerous adjustments and modifications, yet my performance remains unsatisfactory. Here are the specifications of my system: Intel i7 8700, NVIDIA RTX 2060, 12GB DDR4 RAM at 2666MHz speed, Gigabyte Z390D motherboard, and Thermaltake Toughpower Grand RGB 750W Gold+ modular power supply.
Is 12GB of RAM sufficient? Is there a combination of RAM being used? Are they experiencing performance issues with the memory speed? Have any memory diagnostics been performed?
Likely a problem with valve performance stemming from some sort of optimization challenge. I’m experiencing approximately 150 frames per second on my 1060 using maximum settings. Are you running the most up-to-date drivers for your graphics card?
Did not perform any memory diagnostics, as I possess an 8GB and a 4GB stick. Both are displaying 2666 MHz in both the BIOS and Windows environment. What should I use to conduct a memory test?
I have companions who possess similar hardware setups to mine. One friend, in particular, has a processor identical to mine (a 1060) and he consistently achieves a stable frame rate of 300fps. I’ve also ensured that all software drivers are current and up-to-date.
