I installed my new PC with these components – Ryzen 7 7800X3D, ASUS ROG Strix B650E-E, G.Skill Trident Z Neo RGB 32GB (16x2) 6400, EVGA NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080Ti FTW3 ULTRA, Corsair RM1000x PSU, and Corsair H150i Elite Capellix. The system started up and ran smoothly, but I’m running into a few problems. When trying to launch Destiny 2 for setting up, it crashes before reaching the character selection screen. I’ve repeatedly seen the error code “Broccoli,” which indicates a GPU runtime issue. Apex Legends worked fine earlier; it only dropped to 220fps during range firing, so I’m puzzled about why this is happening now. The GPU is properly seated, and I’ve reinstalled drivers several times, yet the errors persist. During troubleshooting, I noticed some users report similar issues with RAM instability, so I changed my RAM speed settings in BIOS from 6400 to 5800, then 5600, then 5400, and finally disabled AMD EXPO, keeping it at the default 4800. The error remains each time. I double-checked compatibility lists and my RAM model wasn’t listed on ASUS’s site, wondering if it might not be compatible or if I should switch to a different model explicitly listed there. I’m trying to figure this out without damaging anything, so I took a break tonight.

For fun, I also discovered this "solution" online.

Here are some images of the issues I’m seeing in Event Viewer. Apologies, these were captured on a mobile device, just attempting to save them before the system crashes. It happened right now while I’m performing a fresh installation of the NVIDIA drivers.

Thank you for the response! I’ll run a memtest and perform a DDU clean install once more. It seems this isn’t specific to Destiny since my screen freezes and crashes even when idle, no matter what I do.
