PC: i5 4690, 1080 GTX, 16GB
My setup is quite powerful for CS GO, but I still experience sudden mini-stutters that are really bothersome. They occur unpredictably during the game! Using net_graph shows my FPS and ping are stable, but my mouse lag seems to be affected too.
I don’t understand why this happens, but it’s impacting my performance.
I’ve tried several solutions like:
- adjusting the frame limiter with nvidia inspector
- setting a maximum rendered frame in nvidia settings
- applying some unusual configurations, even from professional users
- updating my drivers, etc.
PLEASE, help me figure out what’s going on and give me some ideas!

I fixed it for you. My CS:GO was terrible—mouse movement was jittery, textures were sloppy, and it wasn’t smooth. I found the solution: open the nv panel, set max frames rendered to 4, and adjust the VSync option to Fast. That should make it play smoothly. I hope this helps you, my friend. If not, sorry. Good luck!

Hey, I noticed you went all out with maximum rendered frames, but could you clarify what setting you chose?

Ugh, my v sync is already fast, but I set the maxframe to 1—trying it with 4 now.

Was die Anpassung auf 4 erfolgreich, oder suchst du einen anderen Weg?

You're experiencing some trouble too. Your system has about 30 ping, and you're using a Ryzen 5 2600 with a GeForce 1660 Ti and 3200MHz RAM that's running at 2800MHz. It's really annoying.
