The BIOS version linked to the motherboard reflects its production timeline. For B550 boards, most were made after the 5000 series Ryzen launch. No issues expected. Older models often include a BIOS flash button, such as on the B450 Tomahawk. You can obtain the appropriate BIOS from MSI’s site and install it even without a compatible CPU. Verify if your board supports features like BIOS flashback or QFlash+.

Ensure your board includes bios flashback for seamless operation—no CPU needed, issue resolved.
