My graphics card is a GTX 1060 with 6 gigabytes of memory, and my processor is running at a clock speed of 3.3 GHz. My difficulty lies in consistently achieving steady frame rates, even with a cap of 60 frames per second. For instance, *The Outer Worlds* at medium settings without a frame rate limit averages around 100 frames per second, fluctuating between 70 and 100, but when I force it to 60 frames per second, the result is consistently around 57, 55, or occasionally even 52 frames per second. A similar issue occurs with *Counter-Strike: Global Offensive*, where performance without a frame rate limiter reaches approximately 200 frames per second, yet when I restrict it to 60, it occasionally dips below that. I also possess a monitor with a refresh rate of 122 Hz. What might be responsible for this behavior, and what steps could I take to resolve it?

However, it’s strange that I was recently playing Siege and it performed well. It's perplexing how Siege is stable, yet CS:GO isn’t.
