Problem: My computer frequently crashes or freezes during gameplay, especially with Apex Legends and occasionally Ark. It also slows down unexpectedly without any apparent cause. Once frozen, I can still hear someone in Discord, but they can’t respond. Powering off takes a long time. After turning it on, loading the screen takes about a minute, but opening any app still feels slow—usually 10 to 15 minutes. Despite extensive troubleshooting and searches, a permanent fix hasn’t been found. I’ve shared my issue on r/buildapc and followed their suggestions: updated drivers, wiped storage, and reset the PC. These steps helped temporarily (for a few days) until I started downloading new software like Discord, Google, and Steam. My system runs Windows 10 64-bit with an Intel i5-9400, Radeon RX580, 16GB RAM, ASUS Prime Z390-A motherboard, and other components.
