Problem: My computer frequently crashes or freezes during gameplay, especially for Apex Legends and occasionally Ark. It also slows down unexpectedly without any apparent cause. Once frozen, I can still hear someone in Discord, but they can’t respond. Powering off takes a long time. After turning it on, loading the screen takes about a minute, yet opening any app still feels slow—usually 10 to 15 minutes before it functions normally, except for the crashes and freezes. I’ve searched extensively and tried various fixes: updating drivers, cleaning storage, resetting the system. These steps only help temporarily (a few days) until I start downloading again, such as Discord, Google, or Steam. System specs: Windows 10 64-bit, Radeon RX 580, Intel i5-9400, 16GB RAM (Corsair Vengeance 2x8 DDR4 at 3200MHz), ASUS Prime Z390-A motherboard with LGA1151, Intel 8th/9th Gen, ATX, DDR4, HDMI, M.2 USB 3.1 Gen2, Gigabit LAN, CPU cooler from Corsair iCUE, liquid cooler from EVGA, and a 1TB semi-modular SSD (brand unknown beyond storage size).
