I've recently assembled my first gaming PC and here are my details. The case is an MSI MAG 010 Vampiric MB: Aorus B450 Elite (AM4). The thermal paste used is Arctic MX-4 PSU is Corsair VS550W 80Plus RAM is Corsair Vengeance 32GB DDR4-3600MHz CPU is AMD Ryzen 5 3600 CPU cooler is AMD Stealth (stock) GPU is Gigabyte Radeon RX 5700XT. My current CPU temperature ranges from 92 to 100 degrees during IntelBurnTest at high load. I'm uncertain if this is typical since I'm using the stock cooler, or if something went wrong. Idle temps are around 42-45 degrees. I haven't run any games yet to verify stability before making changes. At present, I have two intake fans front and one extraction fan back. I intend to add an extraction fan on top to boost airflow. I've tried several fixes: reapplying thermal paste (2-3°C drop), adding a thin layer in the middle, and reinstalling the cooler (no improvement). I wasn't overclocking, so I was expecting it to work fine. Thanks for any guidance!
Add a tiny portion in the center. Verify the connection is secure. Also, confirm if PBO is activated—this seems like a common Gigabyte problem where the CPU gets overvolted.
