I relocated my computer to a different room and reconfigured it. After booting, the system initially functioned correctly, but when attempting to launch a game—specifically Rocket League—significant performance issues became apparent. The game loaded slowly, and once running, it displayed only 20 frames per second with a response time of 35 milliseconds. This issue has not previously occurred, and I have attempted various troubleshooting steps, including replacing the display cable, restarting my computer, updating graphics and monitor drivers, among other methods. Despite these efforts, the problem persists.

Specifications:
GPU: Nvidia RTX 2060
CPU: Intel Core i7 8700k
Mobo: Asus z370-A Prime
Ram: 16 Gbs of Corsair
Monitor: Acer XFA240 144hz

G.Skill produces Ripjaws memory, while Corsair is a separate memory brand. Which one do you use? Are they combined? If so, try using only one stick and observe any changes.

I am performing a complete system restore and will check to see if it resolves the issue.

I apologize. I have 16GB of Corsair RAM and do not use mixed RAM modules. My computer normally runs Rocket League at 250 fps with a 1ms input time, but after moving and unplugging my computer and replugging it back in, the game runs at 20 fps with a 35ms response time.

The same problem persists despite good specifications. Frame rate dropped to 30 fps – what’s happening? Did you resolve this issue?
