it wasn't what I expected, you're right... best buy messed things up, which is why I ended up with a computer for about half the price. i don’t have to complain, lol. but i traded in the MSI card that came with it—technically. i got 200 bucks back and my friends gave me an EVGA XC card. plus, i handed over the WD blue 500gb SSD i had, along with an ADATA drive i already owned. so from selling the MSI card and the drive, i ended up making 200 bucks richer.

Sure, just to make sure. The GPU you're referring to doesn't have a backplate. Are you still confident about that?

It's definitely okay. Whether it has a backplate or not, it doesn't matter.

my gaming benchmark has dropped 11%, now at 171—down from its peak when I had a really bad OC on the card. That person didn’t have any issues, so I’m fine with it. Still, I was just a bit short of last month’s userbenchmark score, which was a bit disappointing.

It doesn't really matter. I have a wireless card above my GPU and everything is fine.

Yes, it's an ASUS card associated with @chefreinhold.

Not a Palit 2070 Dual, just a Palit 2070 model.
