Hello, my computer, purchased in June, began showing signs of damage and slowed down. I haven’t experienced such issues during the summer; I played all games without VSync at high frame rates, but suddenly it happened. My specifications are: ASUS TUF A15 2023 Edition, RTX 4060, Ryzen 7 7735HS, two 8GB DDR5 4800MHz RAM modules, a 500GB M.2 SSD, and a 144Hz G-Sync display. I’m running Windows 11. I’m unsure why this started. My roommate uses an ASUS TUF 2022 edition with an RTX 3050 and when we tested two machines on CS2 without VSync, my PC had more tearing and felt like it wasn’t at 144Hz. His runs 180fps while mine hit 220fps, both have 144Hz monitors, his machine lacks G-Sync but mine isn’t smooth. I attempted to remove drivers with ddu and reinstall, but nothing resolved the problem. I’m considering a refund or warranty claim. If anyone can assist, I’d appreciate it. Thank you.

The monitor is likely not configured for 144hz. Open the NVIDIA control panel, navigate to display settings, and ensure Do NOT use Windows to adjust refresh rate or resolution once changes are saved.
