Experiences stuttering and hesitation following GPU and monitor swapping (post-DDU)
Hey everyone, I’m switching my main rig to a safer setup for the Steam Deck. I moved from an RTX 3070 to an RX 6600 and lowered the resolution from 1440p to 1080p. I installed the new AMD drivers straight from AMD’s site. So far, I’ve played two games—Rainbow Six Siege and PUBG—and both have occasional FPS drops every few seconds. Sometimes it’s just a tiny lag, other times the game freezes for a second or two. I’m not sure what’s causing this and hope there’s a fix that doesn’t require a full Windows reinstall. Anyone with experience? Do you have any tips? Thanks, GM!
