Hello everyone. I'm facing a problem that's hard to fix. I use two monitors and when I play a game on the main screen, YouTube and other video sites on the second one start to lag. It feels like my computer is giving priority to Chrome (and Edge) instead. I just installed Windows 11 about a month ago, and it only slows down when the game runs. But when I switch Chrome to active window mode, everything works smoothly. The game I'm playing right now is New World. Here are my system details: OS – Windows 11 Home; MB – ASUS Z690-Plus WiFi D4; CPU – 12th Gen Intel Core i7-12700K; RAM – 32GB Crucial Ballistix 3600 MHz DDR4; GPU – NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 (ASUS GeForce RTX 3080 TUF Gaming V2 OC); M.2 – 1TB Samsung 980 Pro. I found a thread that matches my situation, but it's quite old. Do you know if there are any settings in Windows, NVIDIA, or Chrome that could cause this issue? I think my PC has enough resources for watching videos while playing games. Thanks for your time.

Both displays run at native resolution during gaming. Have you experimented with a borderless window setting for the game?

Choose whether to show in fullscreen or a windowed fullscreen. You prefer windowed fullscreen for secondary monitors to allow the window manager to match the refresh rate.

Both displays operate at their standard size. I've tested borderless windowed mode for the game, but it didn't seem to help. Chrome is also running in windowed mode.
