I just played FIFA 18 all year, tried seasons with two teams, and never faced any graphics issues. After a while I stopped playing and the game started stuttering during matches longer than five minutes. Nothing on my system changed—same hardware, but it won’t run smoothly anymore. Other games work fine. I’m trying to figure out what’s causing this problem. Any advice or help would be appreciated!

It might be helpful to check the files' integrity (FIFA 18). If there isn’t an alternative, a fresh installation could be a good idea.

Does Windows maintain its updates? Which components would need refreshing? Also, can you explain how to identify outdated drivers on your device? How do you confirm the reliability of the files? A fresh installation might be beneficial. Continuously installing one community feature at a time often leads to complications.

Of course, for maintaining trust, certain services such as Steam offer this feature, though I'm unsure about the source of your game access.

Well, to check, I performed the necessary Windows updates, my GPU drivers are current, and my RAM is functioning well. It's odd because games that previously ran smoothly are now experiencing stuttering. I think a recent Windows update might have affected graphics processing. How could something like that cause issues with game performance?

It might be worth checking for other drivers or a BIOS update. Have you tried updating to the latest BIOS version? Additionally, if you have a standard mechanical HDD ID test using HD Tune Pro, it could help identify if a failing drive is present, even if it's an SSD—it might cause noticeable performance issues.
