Hey there, I'm trying to play Paragon and usually it runs smoothly on medium or high settings at 60fps. But today it's been super slow and I'm not sure what's causing it. I've restarted the game and even checked my computer, but it still lags, especially in the menu. My GPU is updated and not overheating. I have an GTX 970, an i7-4720HQ, and 16GB of RAM. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks for the help!

Your GPU or CPU might be experiencing thermal throttling.

Between 50 and 60, usually around 55, it's always this way while playing

Have you adjusted the volume to a lower level?

It improves somewhat but remains slow, similar to what my flatmate experiences on Med with a GTX 960M. I don’t know the exact problem yet.

Inter connection may lead to spikes, not typically causing lag

I'm connected to Ethernet and others are playing without issues. I'll attempt to roll back the drivers to check if it resolves the problem. Each driver update seems to cause new issues.

The problem isn't clear to me. Could you provide more details?

I rolled back the drivers, restarted the system, then reinstalled the new GPU drivers and restarted once more, which resolved the problem!
