My GPU frequently shuts down when attempting to launch games, ending with a desktop crash without a blue screen. This occurs around 1800 MHz, especially during 3D or similar tasks. When stressing the entire system in AIDA64, there are no issues and the GPU operates smoothly above 1800 MHz. Your setup includes an i7-4790K (4.6 GHz), 1.21 GHz Z97 Asus Pro Gamer 2x8GB RAM, a 1866 MHz PSU, and a Cooler Master XG750 RTX 2070 (Gigabyte Gaming OC x3).

Check the drivers first, then reinstall them. If that fails, consider lowering the GPU's clock speed.

It looks like your GPU might be brand new or used. You could try installing "MSI Afterburner" to control its clock speed for better performance.

I've already attempted it. I didn't adjust the settings to -200 or -300, yet the GPU still doesn't hit 1800MHz and it works. That's all I can do.

You're asking about the steps you're taking because the issue continues. It seems like your second-hand GPU might be causing the problem.
