I have the steam version of GTA V. I was having the same problem with it yesterday, and I reinstalled it cleanly. (Im on the cunning stunts update). There aren't any mods in the game's folder, but when I launched the game and clicked on singleplayer,, it crashed and said that "gta v has stopped" or something like that like 20-30 seconds into the loading screen. Here is my launcher.log if that helps. Yes, but I applied ddu and reinstalled the drivers. That happened roughly two weeks ago.
