Hello, your setup involves a quad M.2 card from Asus and an MSI X370 Gaming Plus motherboard with an R7 5800X3D CPU. You've installed four 1TB drives but only one is recognized during boot. The issue seems to be with the number of drives rather than the card itself. Based on your setup, it appears the motherboard's M.2 slot may have limitations for supporting multiple drives simultaneously. Upgrading to a B550 or X570 motherboard could resolve this, as those models typically support more M.2 slots and better driver compatibility.

The 4 m.2 cards aren't suited for desktop systems like AM4/AM5 because of PCIe lane constraints. I’d aim for a single 4 TB m.2 or SATA SSDs instead. Are you focused on GPU speed? You’ll need your GPU to draw power from the chipset lanes, which will moderately affect performance.

Looking through your motherboard guide reveals that the second PCIe port is only configured for x4, or possibly x8 if you reduce the main slot down to x8 as well—even though it’s actually an x16 port. Consumer CPUs lack sufficient lanes to accommodate more than a single full x16 slot.
