Hi all. My father has a pretty wide house and has purchased an 8 camera (poe) surveillance system. The nvr box will sit centrally with four cameras on the one side of the house and four on the other. It's going to be difficult to wire in, and would be much easier if we could group each side of the house into four cameras joining then by a single cable to the nvr. However the nvr has a connection for each camera, so I fear joining four of the cameras into a single hub would ruin the signal from each camera. Is there a way to achieve a 4-1-4 connection so as to save the need to wire some serious amount of cable? Many thanks for your help!

Hi, thanks for your message. The system you mentioned is https://reolink.com/product/rlk16-410b8/. Do you need a recommendation for a suitable PoE device? It seems you’d likely require a 5-port solution at one end, meaning four switches. I’m not entirely sure the theory would work without more details, but I appreciate your effort in researching. Thanks again!
