I've upgraded my Asus ROG STRIX Z390-F with Aura Sync for iCUE control. All case fans were initially set to silent, and speeds hovered between 820-950 RPM. After the BIOS update everything worked smoothly until launching programs or opening new tabs—fans would spike to 1500 RPM and then ease back. I haven’t adjusted the fan curve in the BIOS before, so it’s unclear what might be triggering this behavior. Any suggestions? Edit: Even loading web pages seems to cause the fans to increase speed. Perhaps minor CPU spikes are responsible?
