Remove programs that launch when Windows starts. I only have 6GB of space (yes, it's tight). I've turned off almost everything that runs at startup, like Steam, Discord, Skype, etc.

Open the view to see all running applications from every user. This could reveal many more programs in action and allow you to inspect them further... though I’m not entirely sure, since I use Windows 7.
