You're wondering if this forum is the best spot for your question. Recently you reinstalled Windows 10 on your PC, and your memory usage has stayed between 25-40%, sometimes reaching 50%. You think the latest version helped, though you're unsure what it is. Also, you have 8GB of RAM with an i5-6600 processor.

your setup runs on Windows 10 64-bit with moderate memory usage, and you're currently using around 30-41% of your RAM. everything seems within normal limits. you're also operating on an 8GB RAM system.

I can't take or post screenshots directly. However, you can open the Performance tab and locate the memory section to capture it yourself.

Capture the screen on a new installation and wait five minutes for the system to stabilize. Close any programs that launch automatically at startup unless necessary. Chrome uses around 19%, Discord and Steam add another 5%, bringing the total to roughly 25%. Removing those figures leaves about 20%. This is likely how Windows would idle after booting if everything runs smoothly.
