There are 144Hz displays capable of 144fps. Since some games run at lower frame rates, opting for a higher FPS ensures smoother performance and readiness for those situations.

Your display supports 144Hz, so 120fps is possible. A standard 60Hz monitor won’t allow that.

I notice a variation in the range between 60 and 120 Hz. Anything above 60 is acceptable.
