Hello, I hope everyone is enjoying a great Sunday. I bought a PC with a 3080 Ti for a good price, but noticed the PWR4 temperature is consistently around 95-100°C, while the rest of the system stays under 90°C—my hotspot reading was about 86°C. Is this normal? Should I keep using it and see how it performs, or should I be concerned? I have three years of warranty, which might help. Thanks! Edit: During firmware updates, the hottest sensor (PWR4) reached up to 89°C, the GPU sensor was at 79°C, and the hotspot hit 85°C.

I don't have access to that information. Please check the details directly with the relevant source.

The Evga anti-tamper sticker remains undamaged, which suggests it’s still in place. That seems to be the case.

How much air moves through the setup? The fans operate at specific speeds during the Time Spy test.

There are two fans inside the front, one at the back. The CPU has a water cooling system on top. I'm using the typical fan curve, and because the GPU cores peaked around the 80s, I assume the fans run at about 80% capacity.

I know it's an old thread, but did you resolve that issue? I'm experiencing the exact same problem with my EVGA RTX 3070 FTW3, where the PWR4 sensor reading shows a high temperature for a short time. However, I'm 100% sure it's not a heating issue, as I’ve been monitoring the sensor with GPU-Z. When the temperature spikes, it jumps from 41°C to 90°C and then drops back down in the same way after some time. It's impossible for the temperature to go from 40°C to 90°C in less than a second. If you managed to sort out the issue, please let me know.
