EVGA 700 W1
EVGA 700 W1
i had a Dark Base 700 and it also had limited airflow compared to the Silent Base 802.
the whole metallic body was consistently warm to the touch, indicating that much heat remained inside rather than being effectively removed.
this happened with a front 280mm AiO unit, a single 140mm bottom intake, and three 140mm exhausts on top and rear.
i thought about removing a big part of the top and making my own vented ceiling.
if noise matters more than heat or airflow, then the Pure Base or Dark Base could work better, but the Silent Base still offers much better cooling for components.
Cooling seems crucial, as I won't be using an aio. Appreciate the advice. Should I stick with DRP4 or consider switching to Noctua or another option?
they've provided ample performance for Intel's newest high-end CPUs.
i think they'll continue to do so for the Ryzen 9.
the fans in Silent Wings 3 or 4 are also top-notch.
make sure you have sufficient direct cool airflow into the cooler and warm air exhaust properly out the back.
Hi. A few weeks back I mentioned being stuck with the EVGA W1 white power supply. I've kept searching for better alternatives and have only found these two options:
EVGA GD GOLD 600W and EVGA BQ BRONZE 600W.
I'd like to get some feedback here, are they worth considering? I've checked the tierlist and noticed they're in Tier C, which seems reasonable since the W1 is in Tier F. I'm thinking about purchasing a RX 6600 graphics card later, pairing it with a 5600.
I don't think so. EVGA GD Gold is Tier B, whereas BQ is yes, Tier C, and so on. PSU tier list: https://forums. Even though the class names differ, it's more like: Tier A – top-tier PSUs for any gaming PC with a dedicated GPU. Tier B – lower quality PSUs, suitable only for office PCs without a dedicated GPU. Tier C-E – not worth the investment. If you're planning a GPU upgrade, expect to spend more on a good PSU too; otherwise, don't buy the GPU if you can't afford a solid one.
I have continued to scour the corners of my country looking for better options and, the only ones I have found have been these two power supplies:
EVGA GD GOLD 600W and EVGA BQ BRONZE 600W
.
Where are you located?
What other brand's/PSU's do you have access to? As for your current build, please list them like so;

I come from Venezuela. The best-selling power supplies here are mainly the EVGA W1 models and the AZZA brand, which I find too generic.
My setup includes:
Ryzen 5 5600G
Jonsbo CR 1400
B550MH
16GB RAM at 3200 MHZ
GPU not installed yet
Azzza BLAZE 231 chassis
Windows 10
LG 1080P monitor (exact model unknown)
You either didn't search closely enough or you didn't look at all.
With a bit of Googling, I found many high-quality Corsair units;
for example RM850x, link:

or a more affordable option RM850e, link:
https://articulo.mercadolibre.com.v...-corsair-rm850e-full-modular-pcie-50-850w-_JM
This is similar to the one you mentioned, RMe;

You even have Seasonic products, such as;
Focus PX-650, link:

or Focus GX-750, link:

It's surprising you can find Super Flower units too, which are rare,
Leadex III Gold 750, link:

I don't speak Spanish and I'm not living in Venezuela, yet I can still locate many good quality PSUs in your local area. Why is that?
