Hey everyone. I just finished assembling a new PC in January and February. Everything except the graphics card came with me at once—my GPU arrived in February. For now, I’ve been using my 1060 3GB. Here are my current specs: CPU: 5900X Cooler: NZXT Kraken Z73 GPU: EVGA 3070 FTW3 Ultra Motherboard: MSI X570 Tomahawk RAM: G-Skill Trident Z Royal 2x16gb 3600mhz Storage: 500Gb Samsung 980 Pro + WD Gold 4Tb Power Supply: Corsair RM750x My PC was working perfectly before I installed the 3070, so it seems the problem might be with that card. Problems I’m facing: Games occasionally crash, usually during loading screens or after a few hours of play. Sometimes it happens even when just running a game. I can go 2-3 hours without an issue, but then everything freezes completely—screen turns black, BIOS appears, then Windows login screen shows up. No blue screens. Lastly, the monitor flickers black several times, mostly when launching a game, and sometimes right after too, with about a 20% chance of a total crash afterward. I’ve tried fixing things: first thought it was bad drivers, then went through three driver updates and a BIOS update. I even uninstalled all drivers with DDU, set the GPU to High Power Mode in Nvidia Control Panel, reset BIOS settings, and even reinstalled Windows. Still nothing works. It feels like my GPU might be faulty. Any suggestions? Or are there other factors at play? Also, the card uses two separate 8-pin cables. I contacted both EVGA and the store I bought it from. EVGA said they can handle a return but will charge $130 for shipping, and they can’t confirm when it’ll be fixed. The store offered a return label so I can send it back for testing, but they’d either refund me or send another GPU, which could take months—only if they can actually reproduce the issue, which seems unlikely given the delay between crashes. Thanks for any advice! I was really excited to build this PC and spent hours getting everything set up before it all went wrong. It’s a frustrating experience.

did you receive a fix for this? i have a specific i dentical problem and i saw it during gameplay. checking the error log suggests it's psu related, and i'm using the same psu. my card arrived in december 2021. build board: tuf x570 cpu: 5800x gpu: evga 3070 ftw3 dimm: vengeance pro 64 gb ssd: 2x samsung m.2 cooler: corsair liquid closed loop 2 fan + 6 fans
