Hi everyone, I've completed the manual overclocking and confirmed the required Vcore for maximum stability at 3.75V. I configured adaptive voltage and set the turbo mode CPU Vcore to 3.75V, with the LLC at 5. Under load my Vcore stays within safe bounds (1.26–1.288). However, it still spikes, and according to HWinfo, the peak reached 1.536V. I think this is temporary, but it’s risky. The only solution I’ve tried so far is disabling C-state and speedstep, which prevents boosting to 5.4GHZ. My DC/AC is set to 0.1. I’m running out of ideas on how to keep the Vcore below 1.5V. If anyone can help, I’d really appreciate it. Also, I’ve already tried all LLC settings and it still happens. Is this normal for my 10900K Asus Maximus XII Extreme?

Observed fluctuations in the fixed set voltage after a recent hwinfo64 update. The value briefly rose to 1.46v during idle periods. It seems there might be an adjustment in how hwinfo64 processes data. For my experience, these spikes only occur at idle and not under load, and the averages remain below my target voltage, so I don’t have concerns.

I believe damage needs more than just voltage—it also depends on current, load, and heat from the load. At idle I wouldn’t be concerned. Do you have a VR-OUT sensor? It seems to be the most precise one. The Vcore sensors aren’t very accurate. Someone else might have better input?

The safe current draw for these chips is important to know before proceeding. I’ve already removed the 7700K and it worked well, but the VR-OUT specs seem higher than expected given the £800+ motherboard.
