I purchased some items through the marketplace, while others came via drop-offs at the end of matches or by opening boxes. In total, I opened four cases, and consistently received skins for just three pence each, while keys were around £1.60. That means I ended up losing money overall, so I wouldn't suggest opening cases. If you continue playing, you might eventually get weapon drops once your experience level increases.
