Specs: Gigabyte B450M SD3H (bios version unknown, purchased without access). Ryzen 7 1700X GPU runs at 11-MO7 during diagnostics—no external power needed. EVGA GTX 770 works fine, but display remains absent after 5 minutes. All components are used, so I can't verify BIOS details. I assume default compatibility with CPU, but am uncertain. RAM slots have two sticks per slot, but no improvement. Tried alternate PCIe x16 lane and other reseats, still no result. Reassembled CPU and GPU, but issue persists. PSU tested separately with old hardware. Uncertain if everything is functioning correctly. I’m worried this might be a scam."
The stock bios confirm CPU functionality. Are there any warning indicators or sounds?
The guide suggests using slots 2 and 4 while you're currently using 1 and 3. It's likely not a major problem, but it's safer to adjust. In the final picture, is there any wire caught beneath the board? Do you have an extra HDD or SSD available? I've noticed some instances where a board won't start with a particular M.2 SSD.
Changed to a Crucial M4 2.5 inch 128 GB drive. No update posted yet. Adjusted dimmer settings to 2 and 4, also took it out of the case since I got too aggressive and damaged the CPU cooler cover.
You might consider some simple fixes first, such as changing the CMOS battery. It looks like you're already making progress by swapping components.
