I think the problem is real and I probably can't fix it myself, so please try to get someone else to help me. Games always feel weird every time I play them: sometimes they are too light and not sharp enough, other times they make me feel like my monitor has 100hz instead of 240hz (even though I upgraded that). My first guess was just reinstalling Windows, but it didn't help much. I reset my BIOS settings three or four times last year. Nothing worked there either. I checked all drivers including the BIOS update, and even tried old NVIDIA drivers. None of those fixed anything.

I formatted the computer a bunch of times every single time, and Windows gets super optimized after that too (it took about 30 minutes to do each formatting). My PC is running cool at around 65 degrees Celsius, which is fine. But my FPS never drops below 240. I tried setting a lock on the frame rate or letting it go unlocked. Even with VSync turned on, nothing fixed the weirdness. The frame times are really good, about 4.6ms per frame.

This happens in almost every game I play: Valorant, osu!, minecraft, CS:GO and other games. Maybe I just can't tell if it's only for games or even normal desktop use too, but I still don't know for sure right now. Some really high-level players from my area solved this by installing grounded wall sockets or moving to a different flat house, so maybe that was the issue.

I already have grounded sockets installed and also tried playing at my dad's place for a week without help. My computer has an i7 8700k processor, a 1080ti graphics card, 3466MHz RAM, a Samsung 970evo SSD with 2TB of space. I did try playing on both overclocked and stock settings for the CPU/RAM/GPU, but even if my FPS goes up when I overclock it, that doesn't help solve this problem at all.

It looks like you've done everything on your computer, so maybe try a different monitor instead?

Same problem showing up again after a long time, and it won't go away without being fixed.

@moseydoo Hey there! I've started talking in a thread that has been quiet for a long time. You should create your own one instead. Please share all the hardware and software details you have, plus explain exactly what's going on or why it might not be happening anymore. If you close this thread here, no more posts will come through.
