If you don't have a powerful graphics card, do not use ray tracing. A few years ago, the best gaming computers would take many minutes to render a single frame with ray tracing. Current high-end graphics cards use a method to simulate real-time ray tracing, but your hardware may not be advanced enough for this feature.
