The specifications define my primary computer. It's a brand-new build, roughly six weeks old, and has remained stable so far. Recently, I experienced three sudden crashes. The secondary screen turns green then loses connection, the main display freezes, and the system restarts. Windows Event Viewer records Event 18, with WHEA Logger indicating a Processor APIC ID change. This issue appears only during light tasks like browsing or idle time. Temperatures are normal, and I haven't been able to reproduce it through gaming, testing, or stress conditions. I've searched for similar symptoms and found many reports linking it to AMD graphics drivers, though others say their Nvidia cards also cause the same problem.
Enable crash logging, and whenever the system crashes again, it will create a crash dump for analysis.
They're already active yet no visible writing appears. Around four crashes have occurred again, this time after I had exited and left the PC idle. The latest happened after I restored all BIOS configurations to their default settings for testing.
Disabled automatic restart feature. Folder "minidump" missing in Windows. No files with .dmp extension found anywhere in the system right now.
It should gather certain data during a bluescreen following the next crash and save it to a file. A Ryzen processor could be involved.
