I only mention this because when I disconnect the Ethernet cable and then reconnect it, both Ethernet and Wi-Fi operate at the same time, and I need to restart everything. DRONO why doesn’t it switch them on together until I disconnect one and plug it back in?

Windows will stick to one connection by default, usually favoring wired links over Wi-Fi. When you disconnect the Ethernet cable, it switches to Wi-Fi. After reconnecting, previous Wi-Fi connections might still use Wi-Fi, but new ones will likely go back to Ethernet. It's unclear what your goal is—you won't exceed your router's capacity or the limits set by your ISP. Unless you're using more than 1 Gbps via Wi-Fi, adding another connection won't make much difference.

When disconnecting the Ethernet and switching to Wi-Fi, your PC will establish a connection and continue using the wireless link as long as it stays active. It shouldn’t be a prolonged session unless you’re just browsing. Once you plug in the cable again, new sessions will begin on the Ethernet port. Wi-Fi remains active as long as there are open connections. At work, we often started RuneScape Oldschool via Wi-Fi and then switched to the Ethernet for company resources. The session stays open on Wi-Fi until you close it.

Exactly what you were aiming for... but after rebooting, the device stops working because it's connected to an Ethernet port. I think I'll skip the troubleshooting now. Whenever I need to use it, like playing games, etc.

It's confirmed that connecting the cable will end all active sessions, including wireless ones. Avoid rebooting unless necessary.

I initially got confused because I tested Wi-Fi speed without Ethernet connected and saw 450 Mbps, which surprised me since I didn’t think 5G Wi-Fi would be that fast. Hahaha!

To keep Wi-Fi active while disabling power-saving modes in the adapter settings, it will continue transmitting data using the strongest available connection, but remain powered on.
