Uncertain about the decision, considering current prices. I bought several 4TB HDDs for my NAS and PC, plus extra storage, RAM, and other items. Christmas is approaching, but I’m not sure if I’ll upgrade my CPU for gaming or photography. I’m not sure if it’s a big bottleneck, but I’ll check my budget at the end of the year and see what I can afford.

I upgraded from a similar setup: 4770K, 16GB RAM, 1070 Ti to AMD 3900X, 32GB RAM, Evo Plus 870 500GB M.2, RTX 2080 Super. I'm quite satisfied with the new configuration but still fine-tuning the motherboard BIOS and fan curves. The motherboard is a Gigabyte 570 Pro. I wanted to switch to AMD because they now provide better value CPUs, though if I could go back I'd choose Intel 9900K instead. My friend uses it and it works smoothly out of the box. AMD 570X boards seem rushed and might need some adjustments to get optimal performance.
