Now I just have to locate the right Satanic ritual for summoning a 3080. I recall discussions on these forums about goats and the AMD 6000 series possibly being involved.

No concern. This post aims to spark a broad conversation about the current approach to investing in components, covering all relevant developments and future plans. I find it valuable to hear others' perspectives.

Investing is only relevant when it leads to income. Unless it’s providing earnings, it doesn’t qualify as an investment. It’s similar to claiming you’re investing in a property without any plans to sell or renovate. At most, it’s just about reducing expenses.

I see buying a new gaming PC as a way to invest in yourself for fun. For future clarity: the term 'investment' here refers to general spending in my previous posts. That’s not the main idea, though. Most folks should understand what I mean.

Certainly okay... It could mean something comes with conditions, though I wasn't one for wearing white.

I always remind folks that things seem costly, but we all deal with reality—especially when it comes to substances. This is essentially a long-term escape from reality, like spending three years on alcohol or another drug you use often. Yes, it wears off its resale value quickly. It becomes harder to sell. BUT my liver will appreciate it. Plus, I get free eye care through insurance. Now think about what you’re really paying for in other ways. Sure, there’s a big opportunity cost, but most investments under half a million barely keep up with inflation across Europe.

Lots of economic ideas are confined to a single space... I really went through Keynes and his general theory during my MBA. I didn’t even bother reading it while I was studying.

However, in general, video gaming remains one of the most affordable habits and can occupy time quickly... A quick reminder: FUCK EA and gambling in games... The wider public often seeks ways to distract themselves from harsh realities.
